Modular & Prefab Home Transport

Modules are shipped wrapped, on low trailers that keep the overall height as low as possible. Height, width and the crane date at the site drive the schedule as much as the miles do.

Rules of the road

Regulations that affect this move

Height is the hard limit

Most states allow 13 ft 6 in to 14 ft 6 in without special routing. Taller modules need route surveys and may need utility line lifts, so they are quoted by our team.

This page is general information, not legal advice. Requirements vary by state and change over time; we confirm what applies to your route when you book.

Questions

Can you deliver all modules on the same day?

Yes, multi-truck deliveries are scheduled so modules arrive in set order on crane day. Tell us the set sequence when you book.

Who wraps the modules?

Modules are normally wrapped at the factory. We inspect the wrap and tie-downs at pickup.

Other freight

Carried by Ryecroft Freight trucks or, outside our lanes, by a vetted partner carrier named on your booking.
