We move new and refurbished propane tanks between manufacturers, refurbishers, dealers and installation sites. Tanks are always transported empty: we do not carry propane or tanks containing product.

  • Count and water-gallon size of each tank
  • New or refurbished
  • Your confirmation that every tank is empty and has been purged by a qualified propane company
  • Loading equipment at pickup if the tanks are larger than 500 gallons

Empty means purged

Under federal hazardous materials rules, a tank that still holds propane residue is treated the same as a full one. We only accept tanks that are new or have been purged, and the driver will refuse any tank found to contain product.

Questions

Can you deliver a filled propane tank?

No. We transport tanks empty only. Your propane supplier fills the tank after it is installed.

How many tanks fit on one truck?

It depends on size: a 48 ft flatbed carries two 1,000-gallon tanks plus smaller units, or many 120 to 500-gallon tanks. The calculator adds trucks automatically when needed.
