Privacy policy

Ryecroft Freight LLC (“we”) collects only what we need to price, move and bill your freight.

What we collect

• Quotes: ZIP codes, dates and cargo details. Quotes don’t include your name or contact details.
• Bookings: name, company, email, phone, pickup and delivery addresses, site contacts and notes.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and the last digits of the card or account, never the full number.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Security data: IP address and request times, used to stop abuse and kept for a limited period. When you accept a booking we keep a record of the time, IP address and terms version as evidence of the agreement.

How we use it

To quote, schedule, move and bill your shipment; to send booking and tracking emails you’ve asked for; to handle claims; to meet legal and tax obligations; and to keep the site secure. We don’t sell personal information and don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Cloudflare, which protects and delivers this website and runs the bot check on our forms.
• The partner carrier moving your shipment, if your load is assigned to one: only what it needs to pick up and deliver.
• Authorities, where the law requires it (for example, for oversize permits).

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The bot check may set a cookie needed to work. Staff sign-in uses a strictly necessary session cookie.

Tracking pages

The public tracking page shows city-level progress only, and needs both the tracking ID and the delivery ZIP code. It never shows names, phone numbers or street addresses.

How long we keep it

Booking and billing records are kept as long as tax and transportation rules require. Quotes without a booking, and security logs, are deleted after a limited period.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it (unless we must keep it by law), and unsubscribe from tracking emails at any time. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have these rights under those laws. Email [email protected]; we’ll verify your request before acting on it.

Security

Connections to this site are encrypted. Payment details never reach our servers. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, and every office account is protected by a password.

Changes

We’ll post any changes here with a new effective date.
